Project description
For the company Omega Agro Group, the realization of the project for the construction of a modern cold store with a capacity of 1,000 tons, intended for sorting and packing of table grapes, in the village of Slatina, municipality of Jagodina, is underway. The facility is built in accordance with modern technological standards that are applied in the field of fruit storage and processing, ensuring a high level of product quality and safety.
The total area of the building is 3,000 m², and the project is being realized on a "turnkey" basis. As a general contractor, the company GP Građevinar is responsible for the execution of all architectural and construction works, electrical and mechanical installations, as well as for the complete procurement and installation of modern equipment for cooling, sorting and packaging.
The works started in March 2026, while completion is planned for the end of July 2026. The realization of this project will establish a well-rounded and efficient production chain, which enables the placement of high-quality table grapes on the demanding markets of Europe.
